Chinmaya - Kindergarten Inauguration

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kalathara, West Kochi has set new benchmarks in the field of education. We have been at the forefront of introducing innovative ways of teaching, to enrich the learning experience right from Kindergarten.

The morning of 27th May, 2022 (Friday), a long cherished dream of Chinmaya Kindergarten came to life.

Eminent stalwarts of Chinmaya Mission, Swami Vividanandaji, Sri. Gopalakrishnan, Chief Sevak, CMCF, Sri. Rajesh V Patel, President, B.M of CV Kalathara, West Kochi and other distinguished guests graced the inauguration.

The new dawn at Vadakkemadom was ushered in as the auspicious Ashtadravyaganapati Homam and Vishnu Pooja were performed at 6:00 am, prior to the inaugural function. Swami Viviktanandaji was proffered Poornakumbham, when he was given a grand welcome by the school band, Hindustan Scouts and Guides instructors, teachers and students of Class XII, escorting him to the inaugural point. Swamiji inaugurated the Kindergarten. The auspicious lamp was lit by Swamiji and other dignitaries, followed by the Chinmaya Aarati.

In his presidential address, Shri. A. Gopalakrishnan (Chief Sevak, CMCF – CC), wished the Vidyalaya to scale greater heights, upholding the vision of Pujya Gurudev. The President of the Vidyalaya, Shri. Rajesh V Patel welcomed the august gathering and the distinguished guests were adorned respectfully with bouquets of welcome.

The first of our students who imagined their names in A4 Book reflected in the letter 'S' beautifully. The children enjoyed drawing and painting activities while learning through creative expression. The school children attended the celebration with colorful outfits. Teachers conducted various engaging activities and games. The event encouraged confidence, participation, and teamwork among students.
